Kristina grew up on the south coast of England, UK. She has three smallish children and a job. She loves cats and small furry animals, although resides with neither (unless you count the kids.) Most of her closest friends live in the computer and she loves technology, having particular soft spots for Android devices. She often writes her novels on her phone. This might sound cool, but becomes a nightmare at editing time when autocorrect has taken over.
“Everyone says they’ve been writing for as long as they can remember on these things, but I have big gaps in my memory, so it may well be true.
I’m a NaNoWriMo enthusiast, and an extremely shy extrovert (I love the attention, but can’t stand getting attention – it’s a trait you’ll come to love. Or hate. I’m like Marmite.)
My first novel Twitter Twatter is being spread around the Internet like wildfire. A very slow wildfire. More like a small smouldering ember confined in an air-tight jar. Still, it’s coming and it’s good. LIke really good. AWESOME GOOD.
It’s a look at the world of the Mummy Blogger. The main character, Hannah, is cynical and dark. She’s fighting her own demons when she stumbles across the whole Mummy Blogger thing. In the community, she finds a world which she hates but secretly wants to be a part of (not so secretly). She accidentally finds a way to get herself the attention she thinks she deserves, but with it comes a load of other issues.
We’re right at the beginning of NaNoWriMo again, so I’m back writing and learning about my new characters. This is the best bit.
Then we hit day eleven -”
Just buy her stuff, you’ll love it. We promise*
